The Comedian also known as Edward Blake was the youngest of the Minutemen (a group of masked adventurers consisting of Nite Owl, Silk Spectre, Ozymandias, Captain Metropolis, Hooded Justice, Mothman, The Silhouette, Dollar Bill, and himself). Blake left the group after having a violent altercation with The Silk Spectre aka Sally Jupitar. The Comedian was asked by Captain Metropolis in 1966 to join a new group of masked adventurers called Crimebusters, which disbanded shortly after
He later became a government mercenary after the Keene Act took place in the 70's and outlawed all superhero’s. The Comedian served in every major U.S. battle including the Vietnam war (where he acquired the large scar on his face) and was involved in ruthless top-secret operations.
Typically known as a brutally ravage masked man who has no sympathy for humanity. He thrived of chaos and had no trouble taking orders to kill people. Once he discovers a tragic plan to threaten thousands of lives, he breaks down and wants to do the right thing.
Rorschach

Rorschach, a.k.a. Walter Kovacs, is a masked vigilante. The son of an abusive mother who was a prostitute most of her life. Kovaks was taken away from his mother’s care and placed in a home for problem children, after attacking two boys and almost blinding one with a cigarette. At the age of 16 he began working for a dressmaker where he found a “ruined” dress which later becomes his inkblot mask.
After hearing of the brutal death of the dressmaker, he became ashamed with humanity and took to fighting crime. He is the enemy of New York criminals and police officers. Rorschach is ruthless, master of lock picking and improvising weapons, and extremely strong. Rorschach leaves a piece of paper with an inkblot at each crime scene he visits.
Rorschach investigates his theory that someone is out to kill all superheroes, after the death of the Comedian.
